McGuire's many producing credits include the 2017 Sundance pick, BITCH, starring Jason Ritter, Marianna Palka, and Jaime King; ELECTRICK CHILDREN, which launched Julia Garner's career; DEAD WOMEN WALKING (2018 Tribeca Film Festival); and most recently THE COLOR OUT OF SPACE, starring Nicolas Cage, currently in post production.  In his capacity as a Production Executive for SpectreVision/Company X, McGuire also contributed to the genre hit MANDY, the Ubisoft VR game, TRANSFERENCE, produced TWO SENTENCE HORROR STORIES (Stage 13) and served as an Executive Producer on DANIEL ISN'T REAL (SXSW 2019).  McGuire is also the producer of two holiday TV movie favorites: CHRISTMAS CRUSH, starring Rachel Boston, for Lifetime, and NAUGHTY OR NICE, starring Hillarie Burton, for Hallmark.

McGuire's producing work in the commercial space includes content for Honda, Toyota, BMW, EA, Lucasfilm, Garmin, Reebok, TaylorMade, and Hasbro, among others.  Michael also produced the music video for Chris Cornell's "The Promise" (from the film of the same name), prior to the rock legend's passing in 2017, an ode to the current refugee crisis that intercut Cornell's Grammy-nominated performance with intense documentary footage from Syria and beyond.

McGuire is a Phi Beta Kappa alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and MFA graduate of the American Film Institute, where he serves on the executive board of the Alumni Mentorship Program.  A native of Wisconsin, he resides in Los Angeles with his wife Melissa and their 1-year old son, Aidan.
